- The Cosmetic & Laser Surgery Institute is the

Institute’s founder, Diana Parnell, MD, a board certified
dermatologist with extensive experience and expertise in cosmetic,
laser, and liposuction surgery is an assistant clinical professor at the University of California San Francisco and
was selected by Allergan to be on the National
Education Teaching Faculty for Botox® Cosmetic.
- The Cosmetic & Laser Surgery Institute provides comprehensive
dermatology services, including the treatment of skin cancers, acne,
and other disorders.
- The Institute also provides the latest laser and cosmetic surgery

pigmented (brown spots) lesions and tattoos; Vaser®-assisted,
tumescent liposuction; facial rejuvenation and laser resurfacing;

(correction of facial wrinkles by fat injection); wire scalpel

- Because of Dr. Parnell’s extensive laser experience and expertise,
she is frequently called upon by various manufacturers of medical
equipment to train other physicians in the correct usage of lasers.
A recent governmental study revealed that
dermatologists do more excisional surgery, repairs, flaps, laser
procedures, chemical peels, dermabrasion, destruction of malignant
lesions and Mohs surgery than any other specialty.

The Cosmetic & Laser Surgery Institute is the
only full service laser center in
Marin
County,
established in 1986. We are
a general dermatology practice with specialization in Mohs cancer
surgery, cutting edge cosmetic dermatology including liposuction with
Vaser assisted LipoSelection™,
facial rejuvenation, facial augmentation with various fillers, laser
resurfacing, sclerotherapy and the most current laser modalities.
We have 1 full-time dermatologist currently using
14 lasers on a daily basis.
AAAHC: We
were one of the first physician offices in the
United States
to receive accreditation by the Accreditation
Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
The Cosmetic and Laser Surgery Institute has been AAAHC-approved
since 1996, which means that we have continued to achieve and surpass
rigorous national standards for our ambulatory surgery center.
We have two operating rooms and are proud that four of our doctors and nurses have Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
