Laser Resurfacing

Wrinkles can be erased with laser resurfacing. Additionally, scarring, due to acne, trauma or surgery, pigmentation abnormalities, and precancerous growths can all be treated with this technology. We have been treating facial irregularities, including wrinkles and scars, with laser resurfacing since 1988. We use the UltraPulse CO2 5000 laser with its computer scanner. This laser emits a sterile beam of light removing the top layers of skin. During the healing process, new collagen is deposited in the skin and it becomes tighter and smoother. The entire face can be treated in this manner in our certified surgery center. Intravenous(IV) anesthesia is administered by a board certified anesthesiologist. Partial areas of the face, such as around the mouth or eyes, may be treated using local anesthesia.
