The Cosmetic and Laser Surgery Institute, founded by Dr. Diana Parnell in 1986, is the premiere skin care clinic in the Bay Area.  We provide comprehensive general medical and surgical dermatology services, including the treatment of skin cancers, acne, and other skin disorders for the entire family.

We specialize in cutting edge cosmetic dermatology including liposuction with Vaser-assisted LipoSelection™; facial rejuvenation with Y.S. creams, Botox^® Cosmetic, and lasers; laser resurfacing; facial augmentation with various fillers; sclerotherapy and the most current effective laser modalities. We own and operate 16 different lasers on site which are in daily use.

The Institute’s founder, Diana Parnell, MD, is a board certified dermatologist with extensive experience and expertise in cosmetic, laser, and liposuction surgery.  She is also an assistant clinical professor at the University of California San Francisco and was selected by Allergan to be on the National Education Teaching Faculty for Botox® Cosmetic. In addition to the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Parnell is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the San Francisco Dermatological Society, the Pacific Dermatologic Association, the Marin Medical Society, and the California Medical Association.

We employ three full-time registered nurses who are all Dermatology Nurse Certified and have a combined 21 years experience working in dermatology and cosmetic surgery.
